Sweet & Sour BBQ Skewers

Luya – sweet – sour: It just clicks! With these delicious barbecue skewers, you’ll steal the show from everyone at the fire. First sweet, then Luya-spicy and then the delicious taste of Asian cuisine. Let your BBQ dream of really juicy barbecue skewers come true!


Serves 2

‍175 g Luya Bio-Chunks BBQ or Garden Herbs


2 tbs coconut sugar
3 tbs water
2 tbs rice vinegar
1 tbs soy sauce or tamari
1 tbs potato or corn starch
2 ts ketchup


1. Prepare the marinade
Mix all the ingredients together in a pan. Bring the marinade to a simmer and cook until thick consistency. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool down to room temperature.


2. Marinate the Luya Chunks
Pour the marinade over the Luya Organic Chunks and marinate for 30min to a few hours.

3. Grill it!
Put the marinated Luya Chunks on the skewers. Then place the skewers on the hot grilland grill for 3-5 minutes per side until char marks appear.
